PENN Tidal is the newest and most exclusive surfcasting series. Tidal is all you would expect in a surfcasting rod: 30T carbon blanks that are super strong yet light and responsive, engineered to have the best distance qualities, and all are paired with a Sensitip for revealing even the tiniest nibbles. All blanks have been created in collaboration with surfcasting professionals from throughout Europe to ensure you get the best blanks for the greatest price. The distinctive K-type guides are tangle-free and SW-proof, ensuring that you will have no problems casting in windy situations. A comfortable shrink-wrap handle and a unique casting grip are also included with each.

Features a balancing counter weight in the butt section

The range consists of a wide range of unique models that can be recognized by color – all being different with respect to the power. The metallic silver PENN Tidal (50-200g) version is made for the lighter fishing styles like e.g. beach ledgering or fishing from a pier where no heavy tackle is required. The metallic green (100-225g) version and metallic blue (100-250g) versions are real all-round surfcastings that can be used under any kind of condition. However, when distance and power is all that matters, the metallic red PENN Tidal (100-300g) version is the that you need to get the job done.
