The PENN® Battle® III Longcast is now stronger, smoother and more durable than ever before. By matching our proprietary CNC Gear™ Technology, HT-100™ drag technology, the Battle III Longcast has the guts and drag to handle serious abuse. The special slow oscillation gives a perfect line-lay and in combination with the forged and machined aluminum Long Stroke spool this results in great casting distance and making this reel your choice for both SW and FW fishing techniques where distance casting is required.
